Academy of Art University Athletics

Sophomore Amos Maru captured a first-place finish in the open race at the Sundodger Invitational in Seattle, WA on Sept. 19. It was his first win at Academy of Art University and also earned him Pacific West Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week honors.  In a field of over 200 runners, Maru completed the 8k course with a time of 24:52.34 which led the Urban Knights to a impressive second place team score. In addition, he ran a six second personal record over his last year's time.
