This past week, sophomore Georgiana Parr helped lead Academy of Art tennis to victory against Jessup with her quick singles and doubles victories on Feb. 17, while Parr additionally went 2-0 against Dominican on Feb. 21.

Paired up with freshman Stefani Georgieva on the doubles courts in both matches, the native of Blankenese, Hamburg, Germany created a 6-2 result against the Penguins, while sweeping the Warriors on Court 3 with a 6-0 score.

In singles, the Fashion Styling major started her week with a competitive 7-5, 6-1 triumph after a big comeback in the first set, as she followed it up with a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win to close out the homestand.

So far this young season, Parr holds six wins across singles and doubles as she gears up for her first multi-match road trip in Southern California after the team’s two-week break.
