Points per minute efficiency was the name of the game for Academy of Art women's basketball junior guard Alba Rovira Ayuso in a pair of ART U victories this past week.

The native of Valencia, Spain was first instrumental in a 56-50 win over Jessup on Jan. 8, scoring 12 points in just 18 minutes off the bench including two 3-pointers and four free throws along with five rebounds, one block, and one steal. Three days later on Jan. 11, the Communications & Media Technologies major needed just 13 minutes to net 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field, 4-for-5 on her long range attempts, and 2-for-2 from the foul line. She tied her season-high with eight rebounds and provided one assists plus one steal.

Through 15 games played this season, Rovira Ayuso ranks 11th in the PacWest in three-point field goal percentage (.304) and 12th in 3-pointers made per game (1.6).
