Senior forward Quintin Metcalf has once again been named an Athlete of the Week following his performance against Chaminade on Dec. 21 as the native of Wurzburg, Germany collected his season-high in points while simultaneously blocking five shots, a new career-high.

Alongside Metcalf’s 23 points, not only did the Communications & Media Technologies major secure five blocks, but he additionally brought in seven rebounds while dishing out two assists with a steal as well. The 6-foot-8 forward also knocked down his second-best shooting percentage of the campaign (.778), going 7-for-9 from the field as well as 9-for-10 from the charity stripe.

Entering the new calendar year, Metcalf holds an average of 12.5 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game (fourth-best in the Pacific West Conference), and 1.3 blocks per game (also fourth-best in conference).
