Helping lead Academy of Art women's basketball to a 2-0 start to the season, junior guard Alba Rovira Ayuso paced the Urban Knights in scoring in both games while providing rebounds and assists as well.

The native of Valencia, Spain started by scoring 20 points (8-for-11 shooting from the field) with four 3-pointers, five rebounds, and three assists in just 16 minutes of a 78-72 victory over SF State on Nov. 8. Less than 24 hours later on Nov. 9, Rovira Ayuso provided 11 points with a pair of triples plus five rebounds and two assists as ART U bested CCAA/PacWest Crossover host Cal State Monterey Bay in Seaside.

Through the initial games of the season, Rovira Ayuso ranks seventh in the Pacific West Conference in points per game (15.5) and top 20 in both rebounds (5.0) and assists (2.5) per contest.
