This past week on Nov. 2, Academy of Art women's soccer sophomore forward Jade Alverio put away her first score of 2024 against Westmont.

Sending a screamer towards the top left corner of the net after receiving the ball in from senior midfielder Valeria Perez Rivera, Alverio fired from the right side of the box in the 65th minute. With the score, the Fashion major now is tied for the lead in points on the Urban Knights while also leading in shots and shots on goal.

The match against the Warriors saw Alverio’s second goal of her collegiate career.
