Helping Academy of Art track & field sweep the top individual honors on the women's side at the Pacific West Conference Championships, Marie-Jeanne Ourega emerged with victories in both horizontal jumps to earn the honor of PacWest Most Outstanding Field Athlete of the Meet.

On Apr. 26, Ourega first dominated the long jump with an opening distance of 20-7 (6.27m) to not only break the stadium record, but lead the competition the rest of the way. Her season-best mark earned her a third title across the past four years and pushed her up to second in NCAA Division II as an Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifier. The Communications & Media Technologies major then defended her triple jump title for the second consecutive season on Apr. 27, soaring to a 40-1.25 (12.22m) on her second try and besting the competition by a full foot, elevating to 17th in the country. Ourega matched her pair of wins in the horizontal jumps from 2022 and finished with 20 total points toward ART U's team score.
