Contributing to multiple relays and twice contesting the 400m hurdles, Academy of Art track & field's Shareez Hamm delivered a total of four NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifying marks across the Cal State LA Twilight Open and Bryan Clay Invitational.

Hamm began the week in Los Angeles on Apr. 11 with a 52.46 individually in the 400m hurdles while adding the first leg of the Urban Knights' 3:11.62 effort in the 4x400m relay and also helping ART U turn in the fourth-fastest 4x100m relay time in school history. Joining Nathaniel Mark, Ajani Ince, and Emmanuel Ajiroba in the 4x100m, Hamm and his teammates went 40.01 across the finish line to secure the third-fastest mark in the country this season. The native of Gray, Ga. then ended with a 51.90 in the 400m hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Apr. 13, finishing eighth of 54 competitors.

Thus far in 2024, Hamm ranks seventh in the nation in the 400m hurdles (51.65) while being part of the sixth-fastest 4x400m relay (3:09.76).
