The indoor track & field regular season ended with an exclamation mark for Academy of Art's Lina Hanich who delivered the fastest 800m time in program history at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational.

On Feb. 23, Hanich made it her third consecutive year breaking the ART U indoor 800m record, dropping significantly by more than two full seconds to 2:08.03 on this occasion. First of 37 on the day, the mark bettered her most recent program record of 2:10.07 from 2023 and pushed her to fourth in NCAA Division II as an Indoor Nationals provisional qualifier.
