The leading scorer for Academy of Art women’s basketball for the second consecutive game, sophomore guard Alba Rovira Ayuso demonstrated efficiency both offensively and defensively in ART U’s final contest of the calendar year, a Pacific West Conference matchup with Concordia.

Versus the Golden Eagles on Dec. 18, the Valencia, Spain native offered her best field goal percentage in her last three games, going 7-for-14 (.500) from the floor while matching her season high with three 3-pointers for the second consecutive game. The Advertising major also provided four rebounds, a season-best three blocks, one assist, and one steal in 24 minutes of action.

Thus far in the 2023-24 season, Rovira Ayuso is up to fifth in the PacWest in points per game (12.9), adding the third-highest field goal percentage (.407) and 1.5 steals per game to rank among the conference’s top 20.
