Freshman middle blocker/outside hitter Alohi Garcia achieved her highest kill total of the season, helping Academy of Art volleyball triumph over Dominican on Senior Day.

Battling alongside her teammates through five sets with the Penguins, Garcia finished with 14 kills to surpass her previous high of 11 which she had delivered twice this year. The Advertising major sent down three kills in the decisive fifth set, hit .333 on the day, tied her season high of seven digs, and added three blocks.

Garcia finished her first season at the collegiate level ranked third on the team in kills per set (1.63) and fourth in blocks per set (0.48).
