Sophomore right-handed pitcher Brandon Kistler (1-0) provided a spectacular 2.2 innings of shutout baseball against Hawaii-Hilo this past week to earn the first victory of his Urban Knight career. Kistler allowed only two base-runners (one hit and one walk) in his relief appearance, wrapping up game one of a May 5th doubleheader. The righty retired the final seven batters he faced in the contest while the AAU offense scored two runs to help Kistler secure the extra-inning win. Along with his stellar pitching, Kistler also added one hit and one run scored as the starting catcher in game one on May 4.
